Android with Google Play
Android 12 or later. It’s in closed testing on Google Play; coming very soon for everyone. If your phone has Google Play, wait for it: it updates itself.
Which One Should I Choose on Android?
Without Google, if you have GrapheneOS or prefer to use Android without Google services, for more privacy. You install it from this website and update it manually, when the app tells you there’s a new version.
With Google Play, if your phone has Google Play and you prefer the convenience of the store: it’s coming soon, and it will install and update itself.
Both have the same features and talk to everyone, iPhone included. They’re separate apps: switching from one to the other means creating a new account.
