TruchiChatPress Kit
Everything you need to talk about TruchiChat or recommend it. Feel free to use it to explain what the app is
In One Sentence
TruchiChat is private messaging between two people for iPhone and Android: all you need is a name, no phone number or email, and everything is end-to-end encrypted.
In One Paragraph
TruchiChat is a messaging app for talking one-on-one with people you already know. All you need to get in is a name: it doesn’t ask for a phone number or email, and it doesn’t read your contacts. There’s no user search: you only talk to people you invite, with a single-use QR code. Messages, photos, videos, voice notes, files and calls are end-to-end encrypted on the phone, and the server deletes anything undelivered after 24 hours. Voice notes can be sent with a disguised voice, changed on the phone itself. It’s free, with no ads. It’s on the App Store for iPhone, in a version for Android without Google, for GrapheneOS or for anyone who prefers to use Android without Google services, and, very soon, on Google Play. It’s made by a small, independent team.
